How long does it take to learn a language?
Again and again we are asked how long it takes to learn a foreign language.
This, however, depends on several factors and cannot be answered easily.
The following factors should be considered:
- How much time can you invest per week?
- Do you already speak a foreign language and is language learning familiar to you?
- How easy or difficult is it for you to learn a foreign language, and how do you deal with oral and written communication in general?
- How do you best learn a new language?
Can I learn a language online?
Our experiences have shown that when a language is only learned online, the motivation falls and falls and in the end no more progress takes place.
Many emerging issues need to be addressed alone with difficulty or are not clarified at all.
